Hopefully, the reboot of this horror and suspenseful monster movie will bring better storytelling and cinematography to the franchise. However, the crossover movie may be interesting on paper, and it surely will be a different story on screen. It even had a crossover feature with that of the Lake Placid franchise titled Lake Placid vs. The movie still earned a sequel in 2004 and launched a number of direct-to-video movies. Even though the 1997 movie didn’t particularly impress critics and audiences, it has grown its own charm, considering it was still a blockbuster hit. All of whom are now familiar names in the industry. The original film starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde, Owen Wilson, Kari Wuhrer, Vincent Castellanos and Danny Trejo. Anaconda Reboot Might Cast Paul Rudd and Pedro Pascal Further down his pipeline are the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, another rumoured Ant-Man movie and The Invite. He will also appear in the Ghostbusters sequel as Grooberson, set to arrive in theatres this year. The Marvel actor has lent his voice to Mondo Gecko of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem which is already in post-production. Rudd has just reprised his role as the MCU’s Scott Lang in this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. That is, supposing Cage and Pascal would also be on board. Meanwhile, should Rudd sign on for the project, this will be his introduction to the director and the two actors. For one thing, he already knows how they work. It isn’t unusual for a director to have a go-to list of actors for his project. Much like some directors, Gormican is likely playing favourites trying to cast Cage and Pascal into the project together again.
Moviegoers know that Cage and Pascal have already worked together in Gormican’s second movie.
